Dear John is an upcoming 2010 romantic drama/war film starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried with Scott Porter. Directed by Lasse Hallström, the film is an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel of the same name. The film will be released theatrically in North America on February 5, 2010.A romantic drama about a soldier who falls for a conservative college student while he's home on leave.
